How many engagement rings should a woman have?

   Following a revelation by DailyMail, that Victoria Beckham also known as Posh, has had 13 engagement rings in her 15 years of marriage, it got me thinking. How many is needed?

       

       Jewellery maker, Steve Bennett, is of the opinion that, for her it is an accessory saying;

          "I’ve never known a woman to chop and change her engagement ring as she does. She clearly sees no reason not to treat it like any other fashion accessory."

             Coming from a family, where a new ring is bought only on the premise of the previous one having been stolen. This is new to me.
